Professor Miloš Žefran received diploma degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics in 1989 and 1992 respectively, and a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 1992, all from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He received a M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995 and 1996 respectively. He was a fellow of the Institute for Research in Cognitive Science at the University of Pennsylvania between 1993 and 1996. From 1997 to 1999 he was a NSF Postdoctoral Scholar at the California Institute of Technology. In Spring 1999 he was on the faculty of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Since Summer 1999 he has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he is currently an associate professor.
